Leadership Team

Mike Hauser, Lead Equipper, Teaching and Story Team Leader
Mike has more than 20 years of full time pastoral ministry experience in FEB, AGC, and CNBC churches and has served as youth pastor, church planter, and lead pastor.
​
Mike attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College before transferring to Heritage College and graduating there with a BTh degree in 2002.
Mike married his best friend and high school sweetheart, Tanya, in July 1999, and together they have four children ranging in ages between fourteen and twenty-two years old.
​
Mike's interests include watching and playing baseball (GO JAYS!), aviation, crossfit, playing guitar, learning new things, and watching shows like Ted Lasso, the Office, and the Crown.

Laura Christopherson, Administrative Coordinator
Laura has been engaged in church leadership teams since 1995. Along with being our Administrative Coordinator, Laura also serves as the Network Administrator for Church Planting Canada.

Laura obtained her Bachelor of Science degree before serving as Operations Manager of the Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies at Sheridan College from 2000-2015.
​
Laura married her soul mate, Jeff, in 1987, and together they have two adult children and five grandchildren. Laura's interests include hiking, sewing, coffee, and of course, her grandchildren.

Andrew Lamme, Board Chair & Compass Team Leader
Andrew comes from an eclectic background of jobs before moving into the church planting world. He has been serving in this role for over 20 years now and is enjoying engaging with young emerging leadership. His current role is leading Send Network across Canada. (Incidentally, Andrew was the first church planting contact for our Lead Equipper, Mike Hauser, way back in 2012 when Mike was feeling called to plant a church)

Andrew is married to Erin for over 30 years and they have 3 incredible children plus 2 adorable grandchildren.

Suzanne Mak, Leadership Team Member
Suzanne was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica until she emigrated to Canada at the age of 10 years old. She pursued a career in Banking after graduating from the University of Toronto.
Suzanne married Simon in 2000 and together they have two children.
During Suzanne's many years of being a Christian, she has served the church in the areas of Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Worship Team, Prayer Ministry, Care Ministry and Board Member.
Suzanne's hobbies include reading, studying the Bible, and researching health and nutrition.

Jeff Christopherson, Multiplying Team Leader
Jeff is a missiologist, movement catalyst, and author. He leads
Church Planting Canada and Canadian National Baptist Convention and is the founder of Send Network. Jeff's most recent book is entitled "Once You See: Seven Temptations of the Western Church" and has greatly influenced our vision and strategy at Catalyst. Jeff has written many articles about church and leadership, and they can be read here.

Jeff married his better half, Laura, in 1987, and together they have two adult children and five grandchildren. Jeff's interests include spending time with family, writing, Blue Jays Baseball, and smoking meat in his professional meat smoker.

Kathryn Coulter, Care Team Leader
Kathryn loves to connect with people, and to provide opportunities for others to connect, whether at church, her neighborhood or at work.
She is married to Tim, who keeps her grounded and has 2 wonderful teenage step-children.
Kathryn has spent time leading in youth ministry and currently serves in a role to encourage unity.

Simon Mak, Leadership Team Member
Simon is experienced in both worship and kids ministry, and has a passion for discovering and meeting needs of people in the community.
​
Simon is a technical "geek" who has been working in the aerospace industry for many years.
​
He is married to Suzanne and together they have two wonderful children.

Tim Coulter, Care Team Leader
Tim has served as a faithful member in church for the past 20 years and has served in a variety of roles including youth ministry, kids ministry, and teaching Sunday school.
Tim is a carpenter/cabinet maker with a small shop in Burlington with 2 employees. Hs is married to Kathryn and has two wonderful kids from a previous marriage.
Tim loves mountain biking as well as enjoying bacon and eggs with his friends any time he gets the chance.
Our leadership team is dedicated to equipping people in the church to do the work of the ministry, not to be the "professionals" who do everything themselves. This conviction comes from what the Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:1-16.
